Pere Lachaise Cemetery

The morning walking group headed east to the famous Pere Lachaise Cemetery. The first famous grave we found was Fred Chopin.

The group played 'Chopsticks' in his memory.

We found the wall were the Paris Commune ended in 1871 with the ringleaders (147 in all) being placed against the wall and shot. This site is a pilgrimage place for Socialists worlwide.

The group photo.
